AHHH! Gina K. has new colors. I am in love with each and every one of these colors, and I cannot get over them. They fit in marvelously with the colors currently in the Gina K. collection, creating more stamp layering opportunities. The release features ink pads, ink cubes, envelopes, and card stock. I can’t even choose which color is my favorite!
Plum punch, however, is pretty high on the list. I cannot stop using it! It is the only color (other than Slate) that is completely unlike any other color in our collection. I just love it.
For this card, I used Plum Punch card stock, and sponged Plum Punch ink over the Water Droplets stencil by Gina K. Designs. I thought tone-on-tone would be just beautiful with this deep color! I die cut a heart out of vellum using a Lawn Fawn stitched heart die, and cut several smaller hearts out of Plum Punch card stock using a Lawn Fawn hearts die set. I added some iridescent jewels by Lucy’s Cards for some sparkle.
— This was my first time using the Gina K. Designs Connect Glue. Yikes! Good stuff.
Of course, I had to use the new inks with the Wreath Builder. I used Plum Punch, Sea Glass, Lucky Clover, and good ol’ faithful Grass Green. I added iridescent jewels to this card as well, and adhered them with the magical glue.
Is this not the cutest saying?
I will link the products I used below. Don’t forget to check out the new Gina K. Designs 2018 colors on the Gina K. Designs website! Make sure you comment on each blog so you are in the running to win the $25 gift certificate for the online store. Good luck!
