Prepare to be amazed, because the stamp set that the design team is using today is AMAZING. The set is called “Mandala Maker”, so as you may have already gathered, it creates mandalas. There are so many little images on this set that you can use to create the most gorgeous circle patterns that can be used as card fronts, backgrounds, or cut out for a main element on your card. Endless possibilities!

This set works best when you use it with the Wreath Builder System in your MISTI, but it is doable freehand as well. I used a 4″ piece of Gina K. Designs Heavy White cardstock for all of my Mandalas, but you could make a regular A2 card with this as well. (Which I can’t wait to try!) This set is just so much fun to play with.

Figuring out a design may seem complicated when you first start, but the key is to just keep adding elements! I really liked testing out different elements to see if I would like it before I stamped it on my ‘real’ mandala, so I always had two mandalas going at a time. One was my tester and one was my real one. It is a handy way to make sure you like your colors and shapes before stamping it on the real thing!

The colors I used on this card are Sea Glass, Tranquil Teal, Plum Punch, Lucky Clover, and Key Lime.

This little greeting is from our new incentive stamp set, The Perfect Blend. You receive this set if you spend $75 at the Gina K. Designs website! I just cannot get over this darling little set. I have some fun coloring cards coming up using it!

I still can’t get over the colors from the 2018 Gina K. Designs color release, so those are the colors I used primarily on these cards. This card uses Key Lime and Lucky Clover with a little Coral Reef in the center. Tangerine Twist which is more of a citrus-y orange color, would look amazing added in to these colors.

Aren’t these patterns the coolest? 😍

This gorgeous greeting is such a good encouragement to someone who needs a pick-me-up. It is from the stamp set Whimsical Wildflowers by Hannah Schroepfer.

I had to do a classic black and white one. I used little iridescent jewels on all of my cards, because a little bling just steps a card right up. I love how the iridescent jewels pick up the purples and blues of the colored cards.

Men Of Faith_Melanie Muenchinger

This greeting is from the next set that we are featuring today, Men of Faith by Melanie Muenchinger. There are so many useful words on this set that can be mixed and matched to create all kinds of greetings. What I love about these greetings is that they are individual and small, making them perfect for sentiment strips! ‘Thankful’ is definitely my favorite, because Thank You cards are some of the best to have on hand.

This card was so simple to make, but isn’t it the cutest? I used Lisa Hetrick’s new stamp set from the release, Something Good in Every Day, to create the heart. (This is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s blog hop! Haha!) The little sentiment strip on the Kraft was perfect.

For this card, I stamped several sentiments on a piece of cardstock that I painted with Fresh Asparagus and Slate ink and shimmer watercolor. I cut them out into little sentiment strips, and arranged them on the card. This is such a nice ‘man card’ that could work for any occasion.

See the shimmer? Fresh Asparagus and Slate have similar undertones, so they did cool things when liquified.

  2. Very pretty projects. I was getting ready to comment that the green mandala one was my favorite until I saw the black and white card. Wonderful!! I ordered this set and can’t wait for it to arrive so I can start playing. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Oh there’s so much here to like! Your colored mandalas are gorgeous, especially with some of the ombre stamping. And the black and white one is such a great idea, but I don’t think I would have thought of it without someone like you doing it first. I also really like your sentiment-based cards. I forget that one can make focal points of sentiments, and yours are gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing all these lovely ideas with us!

  4. I have grown to love this wreath building. I think this blog shows the many uses of the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder. Awesome designs. Many opportunities for more creativity. Something I look for in Gina K Designs stamps and use of the wreath builder.
