I am thrilled to be joining Concord and 9th as a guest for their April release! Today the AMAZING Fringe Frenzy Kit is being released, and I am showing projects using this versatile kit. I think this whole fringe idea is the coolest thing, and I just want to add fringe to everything. πŸ˜€

I kept it simple with my first card, because I really wanted the fringe to be the focus. I am loving these colors included in the kit! The bright colors really make the fringe pop. I cut my pieces for the fringe, and taped them all down to another piece of paper. I definitely recommend using lightweight paper for the base rather than cardstock. It makes it much easier to die cut the word ‘yay’ from the fringe piece.

The heart die is so cute with the fringe! I used the same colors, and taped them to a die cut piece of copy paper. I used some foam tape to give the hearts dimension.

This greeting is the perfect size, and when adding the decorative bow, it is the cutest birthday greeting! I layered the card over a piece of Watermelon cardstock to tie in the colors used in the fringe, and used a grey piece of cardstock as a base.

This is a tiny card that features a fringy cake. I used Prismacolor pencils to color the candles and the cake base. For this fringe, I used the scallop die to change up the look of the fringe and make it look a bit more cake-like. Unfortunately, I used my paper trimmer to trim off the sides, and ended up doing all sides of the cake die cut. Including the fringe at the very bottom of the cake! Oops.

I could not believe how well these Prismacolors matched the colors of the paper in this kit. I used Goldenrod #1034, Cobalt Turquoise #105, and Carmine Red #926.

For this card, I curved the long streamer stamp on an acrylic block and stamped in Tranquil Teal (Gina K. Designs) over a piece of the Teal cardstock in the kit. I used the little confetti stamp in the set to stamp confetti over a piece of white cardstock so that it would peek through the YAY die.

I am totally obsessed with this Hooray die! So much fun. I made a tall card with a fun striped background using the stripe stamp in the set and glueing the individual letters to die cut hearts.

The hearts are popped up ever so slightly with foam tape die cut with the same heart die. I just love that little bit of dimension!

I die cut the YAY die from the Teal and Mustard papers, creating a shadow. The cute little tag and bow die added such a fun touch, and the banner with ‘hooray’ gave some dimension.

And inside… Surprise! I cut a piece of cardstock large enough to fit a gift card through, and taped some fringe over the gift card holder! I used the tape included in the kit to tape down the gift card holder. How fun would it be to get a card that opened up to fringe and a gift card??

Don’t forget about the amazing freebie items that Concord and 9th is offering during the month of April! The gorgeous Gem Dies are given for free for an order that is $60 or more and the Gem Turnabout Stamp is given in addition for an order $120 or more!
