Who doesn’t love a cardmaking kit?! Gina has outdone herself with this gorgeous, springy card kit. Whimsical florals, giant word dies, and the most amazing color palette make this kit a perfect start to spring. Don’t forget to comment on all the blogs for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Gina K. Designs!
And there it is. The entire kit in all its glory.
For this card, I embossed the flower and leaf images with white embossing powder, and sponged the entire piece of cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks. This emboss resist technique is perfect for these beautiful, giant flowers!
I die cut several flower images and popped them up with some foam tape. I layered my ‘Smile’ die with several sheets of Plum Punch cardstock, and added a white layer at the very bottom that was offset as a shadow. I love the way these jewels pick up the pinks and purples!
Of course, Lisa’s set is just gorgeous. I always love the beautiful flowers she designs! My first thought when I saw these flowers was that they look like cherry blossoms.
They make me think of the flowers from the Disney movie, “Mulan”! (Totally the most watched movie from my childhood.) I am so excited that this set has a coordinating die set. Which is the largest die set in the entire world, I’m pretty sure.
I used Distress Oxide inks to create my sky blue background so my flower branch would appear to be stretched out in the air. This enormous greeting is so beautiful with the set, and I love how much space it takes up!
This cutie little set (and its coordinating die set) was also part of our new release. I instantly fell in love with these little creatures! I want to know how the tradition started of these being Easter/Spring creatures…
I made a super simple card with some basic coloring using Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I hand cut the rolling hills out of Lucky Clover cardstock to match the ‘wishes’ die cut. I drew a little white stitched border with a Uni-Bal gel pen for an added touch of cuteness.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Keep clicking through the hop to see all the beautiful creations the Design Team made with the release!

I’m loving all your cards Emily! I love the first card, what D.O. colors did you use to come up with Plum Punch?

I used Seedless Preserves and Worn Lipstick. Seedless Preserves looks very much like Plum Punch. 🙂
