The GKD illustration team has outdone themselves with this release! Today we are featuring three sets from three of our illustrators. Make sure to comment on all the blog posts for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Gina’s store. Yay!
This set is called “Your Wings” by Lisa Hetrick. I cannot wait to see what she creates with it! I can definitely see this butterfly watercolored.
“Perfect Pallets ” by Melanie Muenchinger is the perfect combination set to Hannah’s new set, “Main Squeeze”. That one will be debuted tomorrow morning.
Here’s a sneak peek of Hannah’s set. I just can’t stop pairing it up with these wooden boards. I thought it would be so much fun to make a strawberry picking sign with a little lettering. I have so many fun memories of strawberry picking as a kid with my mom and sister.
I did basic lettering using a Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen in brown and stuck the little sign to the wooden sign.
Tomorrow I will show another way to use these pallets with Hannah’s fruits!
Beth’s set is so much fun and so useful! I love the different balloon fills. They would be so fun in bright colors!
For my card, I did a TON of masking using Amalgam ink on watercolor cardstock. I watercolored the balloons with Distress Ink. (I recently bought all of the Tim Holtz Distress Ink cubes in a moment of retail therapy.)
I designed this card to be a baby shower card, and I essentially made this card for myself in congratulations to me and my little guy. He’s going to be joining us at the end of August, and I cannot wait to meet him! Also can’t wait to be done with my watermelon sized tummy.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these Stamp sets in action! Keep hopping along to see the other projects the team created! Next up is Donna!
Thanks for stopping by!
