I am so excited about my brand new stamp set, Christmas Script! Christmas is my favorite time of year, and I have been having so much fun creating Christmas cards. This set came about as a result of my recent practicing of calligraphy. You may know me as a letterer, but I have been wanting to learn modern calligraphy as well. I thought that Christmas time was perfect for a modern calligraphy styled set, because it can look a little more classic and vintage. Another plus with this style is that it can be used for a more neutral or masculine styled card without being cutesy.
I threw a couple of fun and different phrases in here, like “Dear Santa” and “Please Deliver To”. Several can be combined- “Merry & Bright”, “Peace & Joy” and “To” and “From” can be used for tags.
My card making time has been pretty limited now that I am taking care of my little munchkin now. Taking care of a newborn baby consumes more of my time than I could have ever imagined! Definitely looking forward to him being a little older in a few months so I can get back in the swing of things. We are still working on our scheduling. ๐ He is such a good little boy, and doesn’t really give me any trouble. He’s starting to become more and more aware, and he will just stare into people’s eyes and smile. This week he has started discovering his laugh, which is the cutest thing ever. Literally.
My little cutie.
Back to cardmaking!
I am sorry for my lackluster photos, but my time management skills are not the greatest, and now they’re even worse with the baby. I didn’t plan my time well, and I totally ran out of sunlight. It’s amazing what natural light will do for a photo!
These fun little tags use the larger greetings in my set along with some little baby trees from Melanie’s set, Pallet Christmas. I added a few little white dots for snow and drew some snow on the trees.
Another super easy tag design, I stamped this fun greeting in black on Kraft and drew some Christmasy stars around. I love tags, and I love this phrase for Christmas gift decorations.
A little stamp that I included in the set is “please deliver to”. I thought it would be a fun little stamp to add to envelopes for Christmas cards. I made up this address for Santa Clause and drew a simple banner.
I stamped Hannah’s gorgeous trees on Whisper card stock (my new favorite) and paired them with one of my greetings. This card has a much more masculine feeling to it.
This card features Gina’s beautiful tree line on watercolor card stock with my favorite greeting in the whole set.
Beth’s set is another one that we are featuring today, and I love it! This one is so much fun, and it even has a coordinating die set! I thought it would pair nicely with a more contemporary color palette. These colors look so pretty with these iridescent jewels! This fun chunky greeting is from the kit.
This is only a few products from this fabulous release! I was so happy to be a part of this release with my new set. I hope you love it as much as I do! I can’t wait to see what beautiful Christmas cards you create with it. ๐
And a little more Noah for your viewing pleasure-
